One of the things we like to do with our athlete when returning back to basketball is that we incorporate the basketball into the movements. Here we have @aliyaaacon going through some deceleration movements with a basketball. Great way to keep the athlete engaged especially during ACL recovery since it takes a long time to return back to basketball. 🏀Blood flow restriction training🏀 . Hoopers 🏀Blood flow restriction training🏀 . Hoopers you need to be supplementing your training with blood flow restriction training! . It is one of the cheat codes when it comes to lower extremity rehab! You are able to strengthen the muscle with very low loads early on which is huge to decrease loss of muscle strength and size after injury. There is also an analgesic effect meaning it helps decrease pain which allows us to exercise. .
